More evidence that they don’t make movies like they used to, RIP Tony Scott

Word this morning that Director Tony Scott has died of an apparent suicide. Before defining the “need for speed” in Top Gun, Tony directed the cult classic (and one of my favorite Vampire films,) The HungerLet the opening sequence (NSFW) wash over you with its gothic greatness, featuring Bauhaus, David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve, Ann Magnuson, a no-name male hunk actor and some monkeys.
